Free Lesson Plans for Classic Stires, Myths, Fables and Legends

I am an unschooling mom so but ambivalent about posting lesson plans, however at least one of my kids actually likes to do these and enjoys them so I have no problem suggesting as a tool for learning.
No one says you have to mark or grade them they can be a good way to discuss things or bring up ideas and concepts.
I particularly like these Lesson Plans which are bases on story telling.

I am a huge Anansi fan so these are great, You will find lessons for the Anansi ( the clever spider), lesson plans on Rudyard Kipling takes, and many other fables, etc.

The Anansi ones have coloring pages, workbook type activities etc.

The have lesson plans for different ages- each story has plan for plan that goes from age 4-8 years ( roughly)

Make An Actual Cardboard Castle- Literally Make A Castle From Cardboard Boxes

Wow- where was this when GIANT cardboard boxes were common place. I remember building elaborate forts in my backyard from refrigerator boxes.. and making plans to “live” there indefinitely and BEGGING my parents to let me sleep there overnight. I even remember rigging up electricity and putting lights in one of them .

This is VERY cool- the site has plan for making your own cardboard castle. They are very well thought out elaborate and in my mind this is the quintessential homeschooling project. The kit includes Rivets , knife for cutting and plans.
